This challenging overnight backpacking hike in the Victorian Alps will incorporate Quartz Ridge, the Bogong High Plains and Ropers Hut, probably starting and finishing close to the Falls Creek Village. More details will be provided once I know who is interested..

MEETING TIME | LOCATION: Friday evening 4th Dec in Porpunkah. This means we can get a resonable start on Saturday.

DISTANCE | TIME FROM GPO: 390 km, approximately 5 hours drive.
FOOD | APPAREL | FOOTWEAR: All food for the period will need to be carried in your pack. A suggested packing list, including food requirements, will be sent to those who register. Weather conditions can vary significantly and rapidly in alpine regions, so you will need to be prepared for all possibile eventualities, including the potential for snow falls.
