A circuit walk west of Melbourne, near Melton.

GRADE | LENGTH | TYPE: Easy-Medium 9 km circuit walk.

ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION: Fairly easy hike with just a few spots having more challenging sections; just enough changes in the surroundings to make it interesting. Quite active birdlife around the sections near the creek. Nice varied trail, great hike. Think of it as Werribee Gorge Lite!

The track can get muddy after rain, so be sure to set out with good footwear if there's been recent rainfall.

MEETING TIME | LOCATION: 11am on Canopus Circuit, off Long Forest Rd.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Public transport is not feasible.

FOOD: Carry lunch, snacks and a litre of water.
